O Imam ash shaykh Muhammad ibn abdul Wahhab an najdi disse no fiqh al i’tilaf pag 108.

Eles nao andam com um grupo o seita contra o outro… mas ao contrario sao o exemplo do que disse Allah;
“ fiis, sede perseverantes na causa de Deus e prestai testemunho, a bem da justia; que o dio aos demais no vosimpulsione a serdes injustos para com eles. Sede justos, porque isso est mais prximo da piedade, e temei a Deus, porqueEle est bem inteirado de tudo quanto fazeis.” al ma’idah verso 8/ (al bada’i’u fawa’id 249/6).

The most virtuous acts of worship

Q: “In Ramadan, which of the two, as far as the acts of worship are concerned are more virtuous; the supererogatory acts of worship, or reading the Quran, or going out and seeking knowledge, (and studying the) books of Tafsir, and the books of Fiqh [Jurisprudence], and other than them”?

A: “Seeking knowledge is the most virtuous of voluntary acts of worship. It is more virtuous than standing in the night prayer, and more virtuous than the voluntary fasting. Furthermore, the voluntary fast does not have the same excellence as seeking knowledge, so therefore, it is more virtuous. It is the most virtuous, because its benefit extends, and the one (who works by this knowledge) benefits himself as well as other than him. Thus, if the benefit of something extends to others, then the reward is greater”.

Is it an obligation to learn Arabic ?

Shaykh Maahir Al-Qahtaani (1) was asked…

Q: Is it an obligation for a non-Arab Muslim to learn the Arabic language?

A: In the name of Allah the Most Merciful the Bestower of Mercy

I do not know of a proof for the obligation of this, except when it comes to the words that are used for worship Islamically, such as the Quran, the Takbeeraat (i.e. Saying Allahu Akbar while going into rukoo’ and sujood etc.), the tahiyyat (i.e. the words said in the tashahud), and all (other statements) that are used for worship from the words of remembrance. Therefore, the origin is prohibition, and that these words of remembrance are to be done in the manner ( it was legislated). This is if one desires it’s performance and virtues, according to the best of ones ability. So if a person does not have the ability to learn al-Faatihah, then he should say, ” SubhanAllah, wa al-Hamdulilah, wa La ilaha illah, wa Allahu Akbar.

Using a video camera for Dawah

The great scholar Muqbil bin Haadee Al-Waadi’ee (May Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

…And it is a great evil that a lecturer gives a lesson to the people in the masaajid while there is a camera facing him and broadcasting live. This falls into the prohibition (of making pictures). Also this is considered to be a picture, and the people call it a picture. So with this being the case it is prohibited.

Shaykh Rabee’ on the real meaning of al Wala’a wal bara’a

Question: ” Is it permissible to have allegiance and divide due to a specific individual?

Answer:” This is the emergence of the extremism that Allah the Blessed and Exalted is at war with. He the Most High said in His book… ” O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, “Three”; desist – it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.” (Surah an-Nisaa, verse 171).

And His statement (Sallahu alayhi was salam) ” Do not praise me like the christians praised ‘Isa bin Maryam. For verily I am only a servant, hence say (regarding me) Allah’s Servant and Messenger”.

Extremism, even regarding the Prophet(Sallahu alayhi was sallam) is not permissible, so how about these poor individuals that came latter? (Or) how about if they were misguided innovators? How is the allegiance and,
separation solidified to whoever falls under these characteristics? Uniting because of a particular individual, becoming enemies because of him, and going to extremes because of him, and sanctifying him, this is impermissible.

Allegiance is for Allah, and anger is for Allah’s sake, even to the extent that we love the prophets for Allah, and we love the righteous for Allah’s sake, and the non believer’s and innovator’s we hate them for Allah’s the Blessed and Exalted sake .

So allegiance is for Allah, and the love is for His sake, and hatred is for His sake. If (the above mentioned actions are) done in a way other than this, then they are done for shaytan’s sake. And there is nothing (in these actions) directed to Allah.

Does the proof have to be established in order to declare an individual an innovator?

Shaykh Rabee’ bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee (May Allah preserve him) was asked if it was a condition that the proof be established upon a person who fell into innovation, in order to derclare him an innovator.

So the Shaykh responded….. That which is well known with Ahlus Sunnah is that the individual who falls into an innovation that expels one from the religion is not to be declared a disbeliever until the proof is established. As for the one that falls into innovations then there are different categories:

1st Category: The people of innovation, such as the Rawaafidh, Khawaarij, Jahmiyyah, Qadriyyah, Mutazilah, Sufiyyah, Quburiyyah, Murjiah, and all those that are connected to them, like the Ikhwaan, and Tableegh, and other than them. As for them then the salaf did not stipulate establishing the proof against them in order that they be declared innovators.

2nd Category: The individual who was from AhlusSunnah, and he fell into a clear innovation, such as saying that the Quran and the qadr are created, or he shares the same opinion of the Khawarij and other than that, then this individual is to be declared an innovator.

3rd Category: The individual who was from Ahlus-Sunnah and was well known for seeking the truth, and then fell into a less apparent innovation. As for this person if he had already died then he is not to be declared an innovator, rather he should be mentioned in good. And if he is alive he should be advised and the truth should be clarified to him. And one shouldn’t be hasty in declaring him an innovator; however if he persists then he is to be declared an innovator….***

Voting is not from the ways of choosing a leader

Q: ” You mentioned in the lecture four methods for choosing the leader (of the country) in Islaam, and didn’t mention voting, why is that? And what is the ruling (on voting)?”

A: ” It’s not from the ways of Islaam. Voting (for leadership) is not from the methods (used) in Islaam. This is what the People of Knowledge have mentioned in regard to appointing someone in authority and they (i.e the People of Knowledge) didn’t mention voting… We dont find it (in Islaam). Yes.

The reward for praying in congregation for forty days

Shaykh Rabee bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee (May Allah preserve him) was asked regarding the following Hadeeth ….

Q: The Prophet ( May the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) said : Whoever safeguards the prayer for forty days, it is written for him Baraa’atan ( i.e he is declared free from two things); he’s declared free from the fire, and from hypocrisy, or as the Prophet (May the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) said?

A: The hadeeth is on the authority of Anas bin Maalik, he said that the Prophet (May the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever prays forty days in congregation, wherein he catches the first Takbeer, it is written for him Baraa’atan, (he is declared free from two things); he’s declared free from the fire, and from hypocrisy.(Collected by At-Tirmidhee and was graded authentic by Al-Albani by gathering all it’s chains). We ask Allah to allow all of us to achieve that. And this affair is something which is difficult, it requires fighting ones self, and serious diligence. This will not be easy for us except if we (leave) early for every prayer. The athan isn’t called except that a person is around the masjid or in it. (When that is done) then this will be easy for him Allah willing, therefore be diligent upon this good!

Some advices and rulings regarding the individual who is a new Muslim

The following question was presented to Shaykh Zayd Al-Madkhalee (May Allah preserve him)

Q: May Allah be good to you, (the question) from France says: We request from you to mention some rulings pertaining to the individual who is a new Muslim, whether they be male or female, so that the benefit will be general. Also what is your advice to these new Muslims?

A: Firstly the one which Allah bestows upon him Islam, and he was previously upon disbelief, it is a must that he praises Allah and thanks Him for this. Also he should supplicate for the one which called him to enter into Al-Islam, because he resulted in him (obtaining) the greatest good.

Secondly: He is to be taught the fundamentals of the religion. He is taught monotheism so that he worships Allah and he knows his Lord. He singles out Allah in His divinity, in His lordship and in His names and attributes. And he is to be taught the rulings of Islam and faith, the levels of faith and Ihsan ( kindness etc…) and these are the levels of the religion.

Furthermore he is to be taught how to pray by statement and action so that his prayer is accepted. And it is not permissible for the people of Islam to be negligent in regard to his affair. It isn’t sufficient that he announces his Islam , and then is abandoned without learning (the religion). Rather it is a must that there be continuation and diligence and perseverance from him, and from the one who takes up (the responsibility) of teaching him from the students of knowledge, so that he masters tawheed (monotheism) and it’s types. Likewise he (must) know how to pray and how he should be with regard to the commands and the prohibitions (of Allah), the rights of Allah, and the rights of His slaves, so that he be from the group of Muslims in reality. Therefore it is not permissible that he be negligent, and the Muslims and at the forefront the students of knowledge, it is not permissible for them to be negligent with regard to the new Muslim. Rather they are to have concern for him in order that he safeguards the obligation from the affair of his religion. And Allah knows best.

Missing prayer in congregation in order to warm up water for ghusl

This question was presented to Shaykh Ubayd bin Abdillah Al-Jaabiree (May Allah preserve him)

Q: The questioner says: If someone got up for prayer, and it was imperative that he make ghusl (a bath to remove sexual defilement), and he feared that the congregational prayer would be over if he heated up the water (for the bath). Can he make tayammum (Ablution with dust etc.) and catch the prayer in congregation? Give us the verdict may you be rewarded

A: It is an obligation to take a bath, even if the congregational prayer is missed. Purification is a condition, therefore it is a must that this condition is fulfilled, and that is the removal of major impurity by bathing.
